Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the United States in autumn 2026 at the invitation of President Donald Trump, according to announcements following Trump’s recent trip to Beijing. Trump made the invitation public on May 14, 2026, during a state banquet at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
