The lawmaker representing Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/ Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State at the National Assembly, Mr. Bamidele Salam, has donated 10 buses and 150 motorcycles for the re-election campaign of the state governor, Ademola Adeleke.

Presenting the mobility equipments during the official launch of the Accord Party’s campaign across the Federal constituency in Ede, Osun State, Salam, who chairs the Media and Publicity Committee of the Imole Campaign Council, said “the donated 10 buses and 150 motorcycles will be allocated to coordinators drawn from 42 wards in the constituency.”

In her remarks, elder sister to Governor Adeleke, Mrs. Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni commended the initiative and implored “the recipients to deploy the vehicles effectively while observing safety during the campaign period.”

The Director-General of the Imole Campaign Council and Minority Leader of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Lere Oyewumi, said the donation reflects Salam’s continued commitment to grassroots politics and party development.

He added that public office should be leveraged to deliver tangible impact through representation and empowerment.

Speaking in similar vein, the Chairman of the Imole Campaign Council, Prof. Wale Oladipupo, who inaugurated the campaign committee for Ede Federal Constituency, charged the “members to intensify efforts toward electoral victory, expressing optimism about Adeleke’s chances.”
