Man Docked For Luring Biological Daughter, 16, Into Sex By Fondling Breasts

A 38-year old man, Linus Akpan, has been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly engaging his 16-year old biological daughter in sex from fondling her breasts. 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened in December, 2025 at

Igbo Street, Alaba International area of Lagos, where they reside.

According to the Police, the matter was reported to the Ilemba Hausa Police Division that the man, Linus Akpan, had in the month of April 2025, touched her biological daughter’s body and breasts.

Then in December 2025, he started having sexual intercourse with her before she explained the act to one of her classmates in the school.

The Police moved into action, arrested the man and transferred the matter to the Gender Section of the State Command for further investigation.

After thorough interrogation, the Police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence which attracts several years of imprisonment or life imprisonment.

The charge read:

“That you, Linus Akpan ‘m’, sometime in December 2025, at Igbo Street, Alaba International, Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial district, did defile the victim ‘f 16years old by having sexual intercourse of her and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 137 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State 2015.”

However, the Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O.Tanimola, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP for advice.

The matter was adjourned for mention for the report of the DPP’s advice to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
