As tributes continue to pour in across social media, family, friends and acquaintances have been sharing emotional memories of the young woman described as hardworking, cheerful and deeply social.
Friend spent with Naomi days before death
One of the most touching tributes came from of, who revealed that he had spoken with Naomi just days before her death, unaware it would be their last conversation.

According to Riziki, Naomi had reached out to appreciate him for conducting the burial ceremony of a former employee, Fred Orwaru.
“She commented on my status, saying, ‘Umejaribu nayo!’ and that opened our conversation. That was the last one,” he wrote.
Riziki recalled how Naomi loved taking photographs whenever they met during events, saying she often joked in Ekegusii that she wanted a picture with him so that he could one day post it after her death.
Naomi’s last haunting request
During their would-be last meeting, she made a joke about taking a photo together so that he would post it when she died, only for it to come true days later.
Riziki also painted the picture of a determined young woman who rose from humble beginnings to build a life for herself in Kisii Town.
He described Naomi as “a daughter born in Nyaramba, North Mugirango, Nyamira County” who hustled tirelessly and eventually built her own empire in Kisii.

Her death has triggered an outpouring of grief online, with many Kenyans saying her story has reminded them how uncertain life can be and how important it is to value every conversation and every moment shared with loved ones.
“Gone never to return,” Riziki wrote in his tribute. “Rest in eternal peace, Omwana Bwabasaragei… till we meet again.”
Naomi chose her eulogy photo
Friends online have described the words as painfully prophetic, especially following earlier revelations that Naomi had once shared the photo she wanted used on her future eulogy cover.
Her premonition seems to have begun in October 2023 when she shared a photo of herself accompanied by words that many of her followers are now describing as chilling in hindsight.
In the photo post, Naomi candidly cautioned people against excessive mourning over her demise because “The Bible is clear” on matters of life and death.
Her final post, shared on March 31, carried a message of hope for better days ahead, but she never lived to see them.
