Amid the marital crisis between Frank Edoho and his ex-wife, Big Brother Naija former housemate Tochi has spoken out about this generation.
In his Instagram story, he said this generation doesn’t have the same level of tolerance, patience, and endurance that our mothers and fáthers had, and are too woke.
He suggested that marriages in this century should come with a contract: if one breaks it, they should pay a penalty, and the other person can walk away freely.
“I honestly think marriages of this century should come with a contract; if one person breaks it, they should pay a penalty, and the other person should be free to walk away. People of this generation don’t have the same level of tolerance, patience, and endurance our mothers and fáthers had. We are too woke”.
In another post, he said that when two adults choose to do something consensually, people should stop blaming the other person.
“When two adults choose to do something consensually, people should stop looking for someone to blame. It was their mutual decision. They both got dressed on their own, and they both chose to take those clothes off too”.
Similarly, his colleague, Tuoyo, had pondered how he could conveniently sleep with married women. Describing it as pure wickedness, he stated that no matter how wild he is, sleeping with another man’s wife is off limits, and even money can’t change that.
Also, reacting to it, Do2dtun said there was no justification for cheating for any man or woman. He stressed that we should stop accepting nonsense for the sake of winning arguments and call a spade a spade.
In other news, Tochi had lamented about the hindrances he had experienced in finding love. He said Nigeria isn’t designed for love, as everybody is hustling and looking for their cash cow.
The reality star had a word for ladies enduring relationships. He revealed that the major reason why ladies are suffering in relationships is because they don’t have money. He reemphasised that if a lady had money, she wouldn’t suffer.
Months back, he had sent a strong message to ladies who wanted to date rich boyfriends, yet their family members or siblings were being spoonfed. Tochi claimed some ladies want their boyfriends to have cars and other luxuries, but their brothers are lazy and jobless.
Also, speaking on the high rate of crashed marriage, the former BBNaija season 5 star said it’s because people care more about how they look than how they behave with their partners.
