A viral video of a young lady who had most of her ribs removed has sparked widespread reactions across social media. The clip, which has been making the rounds online, features the lady, identified as Oluwatomisin, displaying an extremely slim waist and discussing her experience with what she described as rib reconstruction. In the video, she stated that she often has to tie her outfits at the back due to the changes in her body……..…………
She said; “Ehhn, let me take you out, let me take you out, hey, don’t forget oh, I used to tie my cloth at the back oh, there is no how you will take me out, (…..) and I will not tie my cloth at the back oh.”
The development comes amid a growing online conversation around extreme body modification trends among some young women, with claims that such procedures enhance physical appearance and, in some cases, increase earning potential.
The topic first gained major attention in November 2025 when a 23-year-old woman, Ewatomilola from Kwara State, spoke in an interview with Egungun of Lagos, claiming she had significantly reduced her rib count. Out of her 24 ribs, she is left with 4ribs.
The latest video has further intensified debate online, with users expressing mixed reactions ranging from shock and concern to skepticism over the growing trend and its potential health implications.
