The federal high court in Ikoyi, Lagos, has reserved its decision on the bail application filed by Blessing Okoro, social media personality and relationship coach who is facing trial over an alleged ₦36 million fraud case.

Justice D.I. Dipeolu adjourned the matter until June 9, 2026, after hearing arguments from both parties regarding the defendant’s request for bail.

Blessing CEO, whose real name is Blessing Okoro, is being prosecuted by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on a two-count charge bordering on alleged obtaining by false pretence and stealing.

According to the anti-graft agency, the charges stem from allegations involving ₦36 million, which the commission claims was fraudulently obtained.

The EFCC, in a statement issued on Friday, confirmed that the court had concluded hearing on the bail application and fixed June 9 for its ruling.

“Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, June 5, 2026, reserved ruling until June 9, 2026, on the bail application filed by social media influencer and relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO,” the commission stated.

The anti-corruption agency further noted that Blessing CEO is currently facing prosecution on charges brought by its Lagos Zonal Directorate 1.
