FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has urged Nigerians to draw the government’s attention to issues they believe are wrong and provide solutions rather than only criticising.

Speaking during his monthly media briefing in Abuja on Monday, Wike said government officials are human and cannot know everything.

“You can call our attention. Make your own suggestions to the government. The government does not know everything. I’m human,” he said.

The minister stressed that citizens have an important role to play in governance by pointing out challenges and offering constructive ideas that can help improve government actions and policies.

He added, “It’s not by coming out to criticize and fault what the government is doing. Nobody has called my attention. What good citizens should do is to call the attention of the government.”
