A former Catholic nun from Nigeria has opened up about the financial and personal struggles she has faced since leaving the convent, revealing that she lost KSh 6,700 in a failed business deal.………
Kinse Shako Annastasia, who was dismissed months ago, has since turned to small-scale trade to support herself.
Her exit from religious life followed claims that she exposed misconduct involving some priests, whom she accused of making inappropriate advances toward her.

Her story drew widespread public attention and support online.
In recent updates shared on social media, Annastasia explained that she had attempted to establish herself in business but encountered setbacks early on.
She said she was defrauded in a charcoal transaction, which forced her to rethink her plans and start over with limited resources.
She later began selling kunu, a traditional Nigerian drink made from fermented grains such as millet and sorghum, often mixed with spices like ginger.
The beverage is widely consumed for its nutritional value and is considered a healthier alternative to sugary drinks.
