Federal lawmaker Honourable Kingsley Chinda has expressed gratitude to political leaders in Rivers State for selecting him as the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, pledging to govern with the fear of God and a firm commitment to the rule of law.

Speaking on Symfoni TV, Chinda said, “I’m grateful to the leaders of the state that has found me worthy to fly the flag of the All Progressives Congress. I appreciate them. I might not be the best in the state, but all the assurance I will give is that we are going to serve the people with the fear of God and respect for the rule of law.”

When asked about the three aspirants who stepped down to clear his path to the ticket, Chinda acknowledged their sacrifice warmly, describing their decision as a contribution to the democratic process that he does not take lightly.
