Heirs Insurance Group, Nigeria’s fastest-growing insurance company, has marked a landmark week of achievements, launching Prince AI, the country’s first multi-language generative AI assistant, while also securing dual recognition on the 2026 Financial Times ranking of Africa’s Fastest-Growing Companies.

The launch of Prince AI signals a bold step in the Group’s digital transformation journey, reinforcing its commitment to making insurance simple, inclusive, and accessible. As the Group approaches its fifth anniversary, the AI-powered assistant positions Heirs Insurance as the first insurer in Nigeria to deploy a multi-language generative AI solution.

Prince AI communicates fluently in English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, and more, breaking language barriers and delivering instant guidance on insurance products, policy purchases, renewals, and claims across WhatsApp, the SimpleLife Mobile App, and the company website.

“Prince AI represents the next phase of our digital evolution,” said Peace Okhianmhense-Philips, Chief Digital Officer, Heirs Insurance Group. “By embedding generative AI into our customer experience, we are improving speed, efficiency, and humanising insurance. This innovation allows us to connect more meaningfully with our customers and deliver support that is instant, intelligent, and accessible.”

Built with adaptive intelligence, Prince AI continuously learns from interactions, providing increasingly precise guidance, while Heirs Insurance’s seasoned representatives remain available for personalised counsel, blending technology with empathy.

In addition to its technological breakthrough, Heirs Insurance Group also celebrated international recognition for business growth. Both Heirs Life Assurance and Heirs General Insurance secured top-50 positions on the Financial Times’ Africa’s Fastest-Growing Companies 2026 list, ranking 7th and 41st respectively out of 130 featured companies. This dual recognition underscores the Group’s financial strength, customer-centric innovation, and disciplined expansion strategy.

“We are immensely proud that both our companies have been recognised among Africa’s fastest-growing,” said Niyi Onifade, Sector Head of Heirs Insurance Group. “This validates our long-term vision to redefine insurance in Africa and reflects our commitment to sustainable, technology-driven growth. Through innovations like Prince AI, we are removing barriers to insurance access and building financial resilience across the continent.”

Heirs Insurance Group, the insurance arm of Heirs Holdings, operates across Nigeria through Heirs General Insurance Limited, Heirs Life Assurance Limited, and Heirs Insurance Brokers. With a growing retail footprint and omnichannel digital presence, the Group serves both corporate and individual customers, championing financial inclusion and setting the standard for digital insurance in Africa.
