Reports circulating on social media have alleged that the Governor of Siminalayi Fubara was spotted at the Port Harcourt International Airport allegedly moving large sums of cash and foreign currency out of the state using a government aircraft.
The claim, shared by Instagram blog Tori4towb9ja, alleged that an “investigative journalist” witnessed the movement of “billions of naira and hard currency” believed to belong to the Rivers State Government.
Article further linked the alleged development to ongoing political tensions in the state and speculations surrounding the forthcoming APC governorship primaries.
