Nollywood actress has set social media buzzing after clarifying her controversial FAAN promo video. The actress, who recently praised improvements at ’s Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, insisted she wasn’t paid or appointed as an ambassador.

In the video, Ojo celebrated the upgrades and posted, “FAAN is changing for the better in so many ways. I’m so proud of my country.” Her gesture drew criticism online due to her past political stance, including her support for against during the 2023 elections.

This video is not an indictment on APc or FAAN, it’s a shame on Iyabo Ojo to come begging for gigs from a government she worked against a few years ago.

Responding to the backlash, Ojo made it clear she acted purely out of love for Nigeria, not money or politics. She emphasized that she is open to collaborating with any political party that genuinely seeks to build a better future for the country:

“I’m Nigerian. And I’m a voice. When I see progress—airports upgraded, roads rebuilt, systems improved—I shout it from the rooftops. Not because I’m paid, not because I’m political, but because I feel it and I want good for my country… I will work with any political party as long as it’s about building a better tomorrow for our dear nation. No agenda. Just hands joined. Let’s stop dividing.”

Her statement comes amid widespread celebrity appointments by , son of President Tinubu, to support his father’s re-election campaign—a development that has kept fans debating where loyalties lie.

This bold declaration by Ojo positions her as unapologetically patriotic, willing to champion progress over party lines.
