Dennis Rhabura died months after receiving a brand-new house from a well-wisher living in the United Kingdom (UK).
He had also recently reunited with his wife, who had left him because she could no longer cope with his medical condition.
Rhabura suffered a stroke in 2013 that paralysed one side of his body, limiting his mobility and ability to perform daily tasks without assistance.

Why did Rhabura’s wife leave?
His wife, who returned home after several years away, narrated what happened before her husband’s death.
“Life was difficult, but I remained. Things did not get any better. I was the mother, the father, and the breadwinner of the family, struggling to care for everyone. When I could no longer bear the burden, I told my husband that I was leaving,” she said.
When Zahra learned about Rhabura’s plight through a social media group, she stepped in to help him and his niece, who had been caring for him.
She built the family a beautiful house and urged his wife to return and care for him, seeing that he was struggling and depended heavily on his niece.
Zahra pleads with Rhabura’s wife
“I would like to plead with Rhabura’s wife to please return home and care for her husband as she once did. If the condition of the house was the issue, I have already addressed it. I also want to appreciate her for staying as long as she could before the burden became too much. It was tough, but I asked her to return,” Zahra said after gifting Rhabura the house.

The wife eventually returned. Unfortunately, not long afterwards, her husband passed away, leaving her heartbroken and full of questions.
Zahra also expressed her sorrow after receiving the news from her team in Tanzania, saying she wished things had turned out differently.
“Rhabura had been taken to hospital, where he was undergoing treatment for his condition. He needed an X-ray and several other tests. Unfortunately, he passed away while receiving treatment. His wife was by his side, showing him love and support. Even those who visited him in the hospital before his death spoke highly of her,” she added.
