“She did not celebrate her mother on Mother’s Day, and it’s not because she forgot. She had been planning something behind the scenes to celebrate both parents. She organised an outing for them to a fancy restaurant in town before unveiling the big gift.
As the family headed to the venue, they thought it was simply a normal lunch courtesy of their daughter, but little did they know it was just the beginning,” she told NgGossips.
Val shared a video on her TikTok account capturing the smiles of Ruth’s parents and other family members as they enjoyed lunch together.
They appeared happy as they bonded over a delicious meal and celebrated family togetherness made possible by their relative living abroad.

“After lunch, it was time to give the parents another gift, which was a portrait of their photo. They were genuinely happy, and you could clearly see the excitement.

We then asked them to step outside for a photoshoot because it was dark inside. Little did they know there was another surprise waiting for them.
Outside, they lined up for a family photo, but we asked them to turn around so we could get better pictures using natural light. That was the moment I unveiled what was inside the tent—Ruth’s parents’gift: a brand-new Toyota Fielder,” she said.
Ruth’s mother, who was holding a bouquet, became overwhelmed with emotion and could not hold back tears of joy, while her husband smiled throughout the moment.
