Ivy Ifeoma, wife of Nigerian music star Rudeboy, has advised women to stop making the search for a wealthy husband their biggest life ambition and instead focus on building their own wealth.

The entrepreneur shared her thoughts on relationships and financial independence, stressing that while marrying a rich partner can be beneficial, it should never be the main reason for entering a relationship.

According to Ivy, a person’s wealth belongs to them, which is why women should work towards becoming financially stable and successful on their own.

She explained that marrying a rich man may open doors and create opportunities, but personal growth, hard work and financial independence remain far more important.

“Get Rich Yourself”

Ivy revealed that she was already a millionaire before meeting and marrying Rudeboy, adding that women should focus on creating their own success stories rather than depending on marriage for financial security.

She also pointed out that generosity, kindness and good character are more valuable qualities in a life partner than money alone.

> “Marrying a rich man should not be anybody’s primary goal. At the end of the day, it’s their money, not your money. I would rather advise women to get rich themselves,” she said.

Her statement has sparked reactions online, with many agreeing that financial independence gives women more confidence and security in relationships.

Others argued that while wealth is important, character and compatibility should always come first when choosing a life partner.
